Fort Sands is excited to welcome Mike Ford as our General Manager in Edmonton.
January 25, 2021 – Edmonton, Alberta. Fort Sands announces that Mike Ford, P.Eng, has joined the company. Mike will manage and grow Fort Sands presence in the Edmonton region and northern Alberta.
As General Manager, Edmonton, Mike is responsible for sales and operations, customer relations, contractor management, safety, and quality control.
Mike has a long history of executive leadership positions at firms such as Paradox Access Solutions, and StonCor Group, where a thirty-year career wrapped up as President leading 225 people across Canada and driving a $94M dollar business. Mike has spent significant time in a variety of roles being a business manager, sales manager, leader, and mentor with successful financial P&L responsibility.
The most important thing for me is the culture and working conditions for staff and sub-contractors. I also value quality of workmanship and honesty with clients. Fort Sands was a natural fit for me and I can’t wait to expand our existing presence in Northern Alberta.
